GURUJI ("the App") is a private tutoring management tool operated by Minimal Coder ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is stored, and who can see it.
GURUJI has no external server or third-party database. All application data — student
records, batches, fee history, announcements, and class schedules — is stored as a single
JSON file inside the Tutor's own Google Drive account, in a folder named
Guruji_App_Data. Google is the only infrastructure provider involved.
We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, location data, or payment card information.
Both Tutors and Students sign in using Google and grant the App permission to access
Google Drive. The Tutor uses this to create and manage class data. Students use this
to view schedules, files, and fee status, and to upload submissions to their designated
folder. The App only accesses data within the Guruji_App_Data folder — it
cannot read or modify any other files in your Google account.
Only the Tutor and the specific students the Tutor has enrolled can access data, and only the data relevant to their own batch. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party. Data is never used for advertising.
Because all data lives in the Tutor's own Google Drive, the Tutor controls retention and deletion directly. The App provides a Maintenance / Settings section with tools to permanently delete:
• Individual students — removes the student record, their submission folder, and revokes their access
• Batches — deletes the batch folder with all question papers, submissions, and student data
• Academic years — removes the year folder and all batches within it
• Entire app data — deletes the complete Guruji_App_Data folder from Google Drive
Note: Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Google Drive may retain deleted files in Trash for up to 30 days (per Google's policies), but once emptied, data is unrecoverable.
GURUJI may be used to manage tutoring for minors. Student accounts are created and controlled entirely by the Tutor (e.g., a parent/guardian or the minor's own supervised Google account), and the Tutor is responsible for obtaining any necessary parental consent before enrolling a minor.
You may revoke GURUJI's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access.
GURUJI does not operate any servers — all data is stored in your Google Drive account, which is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Google acts as the data processor/storage provider. For EU/EEA users, Google's data processing terms apply. We do not transfer any data to our own infrastructure.
Data security is handled by Google Drive's built-in encryption and access controls. We do not store passwords or authentication tokens on any server we control. Your Google credentials are handled entirely by Google's OAuth system.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to support@guruji-edu.in.
